State Street Fitness opened in April of 2007.  Our goal was to fulfill a need in the Caro and surrounding area for a fitness center after the MARC Fitness center was closed to the public.  State Street Fitness is our answer to that need.  We have geared the center around the many different needs and goals that our members are looking for.

We are a family owned and operated gym. State Street Fitness is owned by Mark and Patricia Gray. Pat’s family has been in the Tuscola County area for generations. Mark arived in the area in 1973 and attended Caro High School. We have grown up here and our families have gone to, and continue to attend our local schools, churches and community events.

Pat’s son, Marc Donovan is the gym’s General Manager and was raised in the Akron / Fairgrove area. Marc has been with the gym since we opened in 2007 and has witnessed the changes we have gone through to make State Street Fitness a well operating fitness center.
